Enrichment Programmes

Coding

In a world where technology touches every aspect of our lives, it is crucial that our children who grow up using gadgets become active creators of technology, not just passive users. Coding is a core skill that every child must possess. Digital literacy is a basic skill in this epoch also known as the digital age.

We offer age-scalable coding programmes in classroom-based learning and summer camps. This proprietary programme is available in a project-based methodology and long-term curriculum that evolves in relevance to a dynamic digital landscape.

Visual Arts and Design

“It is as important to be visually literate, to understand pictures and how they affect us, as it is to be word-literate.” – Bill Kennedy

The Internet has completely revolutionised the way images serve communication. Art is a language that is more universally understood and accessible to anyone.

Design-thinking has been one of the most useful skills to possess in the past millennium with the onset of the advent of industrial design for manufacturing and will continue to be important in the 21st century for the design of smart gadgets and innovative systems in all types of businesses.

Dance

Dance is more than the exploring of different ways to make a shape or learning a series of steps to music; it is a way of moving that uses the body as an instrument of expression and communication, building up self-esteem and confidence. Through dance, we learn teamwork, focus and improvisational skills.

Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving

Students are coached for exercises that encourage thinking skills and processes involved in decision-making and problem solving (associating - categorising - comparing - classifying - analysing - identifying errors - inferring - predicting - generating - verifying). Activities that focus on the development and reinforcement of thinking and cognitive skills are conducted to spur creative problem-solving.
